The son of Ivan and Cynthia Alston, Taylor was the special teams captain and earned honorable mention all-conference. He is a consistent A/B honor roll student. His service includes volunteer work at White Oak Baptist Church and Faith Cuts Barber Shop. Coached by Jason Bradley, he plans to attend East Carolina, Greensboro College, or Guilford College. He hopes to pursue a career in criminal justice or coaching football.

The son of Robert and Robin Isaman, Aaron was a football team captain and regional qualifier in wrestling. Coached by Brian Terwillinger, he plans to attend Gannon University and pursue a career as a robotics engineer.

Sincere Burnette

The son of Christopher and Shaniqua Burnette, Sincere earned all-conference and all-area recognition for his play in football. He was vice-president of the DECA Club and member of the National Honor Society. He volunteered for more than 200 hours with Camp EPIC. Coached by Darryl Brown, he plans to attend NC A&T State University and hopes to have a career in law, sports broadcasting, or engineering.

The son of Antonio and Benita Davis, Caden was a football team captain who earned all-conference and all-county recognition. He was selected for membership in the National Honor Society and has been an honor roll student all four years. His community service includes activities with the Crosby Scholars, Second Harvest Food Bank and several other events. Coached by Pat Crowley, he plans to attend Fayetteville State University and purse a non-teaching career in health and physical education.

Jalen Fairley

The son of William and Laura Fairley, Jalen was a football team captain who earned all-conference and all-area recognition. He served as a president of the Men of Destiny and provided over 100 hours of serve educating youth. Being a well-rounded student, he was also selected for the NC Honors Chorus and the NC All-State Chorus. Coached by Earl Bates, he plans to attend Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, or Fayetteville State University. His career options include communications and business.

Kaleb Gardner

The son of Ervin and Denita Gardner, Kaleb was a football team captain and described by his coach a a natural leader. Coached by Mark Raynor, he plants to attend Manhattanville College. His career preferences include music producer or audio engineer.

Nicholas glasgow

The son of Kyle and Beth Glasgow, Nicholas was a football team captain and all-conference selection. He was selected for membership in the National Honor Society, was a Junior Marshal, and served a as vice-president of the Beta Club. He served more than 140 hours in community service projects with Westover Church and the Tamil-Kerr Bike, Run Walk event. Coached by Johnny Boykin, he plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and wants a career as an orthodontist or in investment banking.

The son of Adrian Herndon and Falan Brown, Aj was a team captain on the football team. Coached by Mitchell Jenkins, he plans to attend Jackson State, NC State, or Florida Atlantic. His career choices include physical trainer, business owner, or marketing.

Jake Hill

The son of Johnny and Charla Hill, Jake was a three-year letterman for the football team at West Forsyth High School, where he also played basketball. His community service includes leading activities at vacation Bible school and a mission trip to Tennessee. Coached by Adrian Snow, he plans to attend Cape Fear Community College, Western Carolina, or Emory and Henry College. He hopes to pursue career in automotive customization technology, diesel & heavy equipment, or business management.

David Hines

The son of Jonathan and Kelly Hines, David was a football team captain who earned all-conference and all-county honors. He is an A/B honor roll student and academic all-conference for the Mid-Piedmont 3A. His community service includes work as a food bank volunteer and group leader at Little Kids Camp. Coached by Fritz Hessenthaler, David plans to attend the University of Findlay. He hopes to have a career in sports management or parks and recreation.

The son of John and Khan Jackson, John was a varsity letterman. He is an honor roll student and was selected for membership in the National Honor Society. He is active in several clubs, including Atkins Black Achievers, Crosby Scholars, and Key Club. He is a member of the concert band and volunteered his time with a variety of organizations. Volunteering with the Sigma Beta Club, YMCA Black Achievers, March of Dimes, the Salvation Army and other groups, he totaled almost 400 hours of community service through high school. Coached by David Hamlin, he plans to attend Mars Hill University. Career options include software developer, cyber security analyst or a computer engineer.

Maurice Jones

The son of Maurice Jones and Ann Lewis-Jones, Maurice was a team captain and winner of the captain’s award. He gives back to his community by serving as a volunteer coach with the YMCA. Coached by Chuck Doak, he plans to attend the Catholic University of America. Methodist University, or NC A&T State University. His career choices include sports marketing and business marketing.

The son of Gregory Kennedy and LaWanda McCormick, Elijah is a three-sport athlete who earned all-conference in football. He was selected for membership in both the Beta Club and National Honor Society. He has also given back to his community with more than 50 hours of community service. Coached by Jacob Sheffield, he plans to attend NC A&T State University, or NC Central, or East Carolina. Elijah hopes to have a career in architecture, civil engineering, or real estate.

The son of Carlos Lattimore and Mya Brown, Gunner was a football team member and earned second-team all-conference. In addition to football, he also participated in basketball and track & field. He was a member of the chess club and has been selected for membership in the National Honor Society. He volunteered as a personal helper and in the soup kitchen at Bishop Kearney. Coached by Marcello Royal, he plans to attend McPherson College or Sterling University with hopes of a career in sport management.

Will Lenard

The son of Ron Lenard and Kena Cohenouor, Will was selected as all-conference and all-area in football. He is a member of the Beta Club and recognized as academic all-conference by the Mid-State 3A. He contributed over 100 hours of community service, including fundraising for Hillinkski’s hope in memory of a teammate and friend. Coached by Erik Westberg, he plans to attend Randolph-Macon College and enroll in the pre-med program.

Markell Lloyd

The son of RaSheeda Lloyd, Markell earned all-conference and all-country recognition for his play on the football team. He is very active in other areas of school life as a active member in several clubs and captain of the quiz bowl team. Through his volunteer work with the Salvation Army, Family House, Adopt A Kid for Christmas and several other organizations, he has given back to his community with more than 100 hours of community service. Coached by Antwon Stevenson, Markell plans to attend Johnson C. Smith and pursue a career in business administration.

He has been active in a variety of clubs, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Academy of Finance, and after school weightlifting. His community service activities include Feed the Hunger pack-a-thons, Turkey Trot fundraiser, Relay for Life and volunteer at Hospice of Alamance. Coached by Jim McGill, he plans to attend Appalachian State, Western Carolina, or UNC Charlotte. His career choices include design, business, and sport management.

The son of Michael Neddham and Lisa Swacker, Dontae was a member of the football team and a team captain described as a leader and great teammate. He is also a member of the D.R.E.A.M. team and volunteered with a Trunk or Treat with his church youth group. Coached by Courtland Grimm, Dontae plans to attend Appalachian State University. His career options include sports physician, media, or criminal justice.

His community service included time with the Crosby Scholars, Sleep Out Winston-Salem and a blood drive. Coached by Josh McGee, he plans to attend Wake Forest University and have a career in medicine or computer science.

The son of James Royster and Tiffany Wooten, Jayson was a football team captain who earned all-conference and all-region recognition. He accumulated over 200 hours of community service through volunteer work with a youth football camp, Bank of America, and as a football manager. Coached by Tony Aguilar, Jayson plans to attend Fayetteville State or Catawba and will pursue a career in exercise science.

Micah Salmon

The son of Chuck and Leigh Ellen Salmon, Micah played football as well as basketball and track. He was active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and had more than 180 hours of community service, including a mission trip to Guatemala with Caroline’s Promise. Coached by Kevin Wallace, Micah plans to attend NC State University. He hopes to become a pastor.

Tyler Sheldon

The son of Scott Shelton and Angie Prevatt, Tyler was a football team captain earring both all-conference and all-area recognition. He is an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Warrior Buddies and the Future Warrior Camp. He has given back to his community with volunteers service at American Law Care and Triad Fellowship. Coached by Jeff Snuffer, he plans to attend Catawba and pursue a career as an electrician, contractor, entrepreneur or police officer.

The son of Angelo Terry and Lashonda Stewart, Tre’sean was a football team captain, all-conference, offensive player of the year and selected for all-state. He is an honor roll student and has volunteered with the Dash Baseball and other organizations for 100 hours of community service. Coached by De’Ron Middleton, he plans to attend Limestone University, but is still undecided about a future career.

The son of Patrick and Emily Stokes, Jackson was a team captain who earned all-conference and all-region honors. He is active in several school clubs, is an officer in the National Honor Society, and was selected as Junior Marshal. Through work with the D.R.E.A.M. team, Mebane United Methodist Church, the National Honor Society and other organizations he has accumulated well over 200 hours of community service. Coached by John Kirby, he plans to attend Washington and Lee University with hopes to have a career as a project analyst, financial analyst or operations manager.

The son of Mark and Mary U’Ren, Max earned all-conference and all-county honors as a member of the school’s football team. He was a member of the National Technical Honor Society as well as the debate team and chess club. He volunteered for more than 120 hours of service through the Mount Tabor food panty and other activities with the Mount Tabor football team. Coached by Tiesuan Brown, Max plans to attend NC Central University and wants to be a lawyer.

Scott Walker

The son of Scott and Bronna Walker, Scott was a three-year starter and captain of the football team. He was a multi-year selection for all-conference and earned 2019-20 all-state recognition. He is an honor roll student, member of the Junior Board and member of the League of Extraordinary Men. He was also an actor in the all-county theater. Coached by Derek Bryant, he plans to attend Fayetteville State University and hopes to one day be an NFL general manager or NFL head coach.

The son of Wayne Webb, Eric is a varsity letterman for the football team who displayed great leadership. He is captain of the Team Voyage club where he also volunteered for more than 150 hours assisting with food drives, promoting domestic violence awareness, and other education events. Coached by Doug Robertson, Eric plans to attend NC A&T State University or Guilford Technical Community College and pursue a career in mechanical or civil engineering.

Johnathan Whisnant

The son of Johnathan and Vivian Whisnant, Johnathan was a football team captain and member of the school’s wrestling team. He is described by his coach as the ultimate team player. His community service includes time with the Kids Day Fair, Kids of Childhood Cancer, and serving meals on Thanksgiving Day. Coached by Todd Willert, Johnathan plans to attend Appalachian State or Georgia State and hopes to have a career in audio engineering or digital music composition.
