The son of Kevin and Kelly Brinkley, Quintin was a Team Captain who was also a member of the Associated Press All-State Team, Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 and an East/West All-Star Selection. Along with competing in lacrosse and wrestling, Quintin was a Crosby Scholar and a member of the National Honor Society. He also volunteered at the Clemmons Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank. He was also a Crosby Scholar and volunteered with the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club. Josh was coached by Eric J. Puryear.
